Gina Gershon - Gershon Slams Clinton Claims

LATEST: GINA GERSHON has dubbed allegations she had an affair with ex-President BILL CLINTON a "crazy outrageous lie".

The July (08) issue of Vanity Fair magazine features a report by journalist Todd S. Purdum, in which he alludes to Clinton's infidelity following his recovery from heart surgery in 2004.

The article goes on to insinuate that Clinton made frequent stopovers in California to "visit" Gershon.

Gershon, who turns 46 on Tuesday (10Jun08), claims she has only met Clinton three times, and any suggestion they had a relationship is untrue.

Speaking on U.S. TV show Live with Regis and Kelly on Monday (9Jun08), She said, "That was kind of crazy. It was my day off, and I read this thing.

"It is such a crazy, outrageous lie. It has nothing to do with me and the end of the day

"I met him three times at events.

"It disturbed me on so many levels. I felt I had to stand up and say the truth."

Former Vinnie Vincent Invasion members Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum formed Slaughter with guitar player Tim Kelly and drummer Blas Elias in 1988 in an attempt to cross over to pop out audiences. Their metal style's main focus is on catchy melodies and Mark Slaughter's telling vocal range, particularly his more or less nasal bone falsetto. Their first deuce studio albums sold rather well until their style fell out of favor with the alternative explosion. The group struggled passim the 1990s, and on February 5, 1998, Kelly died in an car fortuity; his last recordings appeared a class later on Aeonian Live. Still, the isthmus managed to regroup without him, releasing Back to Reality in 1999 with new guitarist Jeff Blando.
